Here you will see my Works in Progress and Finished Objects that I am working on during my fiber journey. I am an aspiring musician and designer so you may get the best of both worlds!
This is the Shifted Pillars Cowl. It is my very own design and it is set to be published on April 13! This pattern features vertical I-cords, mosaic knitting and folded brims. It was such a fun design and I hope that you all love it as much as I do!

This is my latest design. The "Fleur de Plumes" hat is a color work hat that was designed as part of a collaboration with Rebecca Page's team at "The Makery".

This design is my "Fleur de Plumes" design. It was designed to be a part of the Fleur de Plumes collection. Gorgeous and simple color work makes for a great knit!

about me
Who am I? Why did I start this journey?
My name is Andrew! I have been knitting for just over a year and have been obsessed ever since I picked up my first set of needles. The first project I ever made was a garter stitch scarf in gold and charcoal bulky weight yarn.... Okay FIIINE!! I was making a Hufflepuff scarf because I am a mega Harry Potter fan! My end goal is to make both music and design my career focuses because both make me happy beyond belief!.......

First Let'sDiscover
"Find a pattern, print it out, for the next few weeks, you're knitting non stop."
I love pattern searching and for any good project it's the first place to start looking. What are some of your fave patterns? Do you look for patterns based on yarn or find a pattern then get the yarn? |
Wind it upStarting a Project
One of my favorite things to do is yarn shop. I love all the pretty colors and the combinations you can work with. But I can't buy yarn all the time because I am in college and learning is expensive. So stash diving is just as fun! Pick out the yarn for your recent project find and get it wound because we all love casting on new projects!!

Process or productHow do you work?
I am a huge process knitter! I love casting on new projects and working on them all day long... yes I knit during class, it helps me focus... I love a good project that I can work on while listening to lecture. It helps my creative juices flow and also keeps me awake!
